The four hundred years celebration starts with a solemn Eucharistic rally on 22nd November, the feast of Christ the King. There will be an adoration service. The sermon will be preached by Bishop Dominic Savio Fernandes. This will be followed by Benediction, release of the Guide and the official inauguration. On the 27th, 28th and 29th of November, prior to the Feast of St. Andrew, we have the Andrean Fair, which I hope will be patronized by many of you.
I take this occasion to appeal to the parishioners, the ex-parishioners, now residing in other parishes of Bandra and the suburbs, the diaspora and the wide world. I invite your support and encouragement in building a parish community where each one contributes according to their means and draws on the community according to their needs.
Bandra has people of the most varied talents. Please share with us your time and your talents as we strive to build a community where the values of Justice, Love and peace are realized in a tangible way.
